Our Commitment to Sustainability

A particular strength of bi Design is our commitment to sustainable development whether that is in the materials we recommend such as timber framing or high level insulation; the re-use and refurbishment of existing buildings or incorporating the latest energy saving features from solar to ground source heating.

Our approach has won us several awards, including Ashfield District Council’s 2007 planning award for an innovative barn conversion in Selston which incorporated traditional features of the original buildings in the overall design.
